Mail boxes on Lucaya Ave

I have contacted the Mayor of Venice and also the postmaster general about the following issue. I am requesting that mail boxes be allowed on both sides of the street on Lucaya ave. The reason for this is crossing the street to get our mail has become very hazardess due to the increase of through traffic on our street. Its not like it was 25 years ago when I became a resident here. The street now has double lines on it and fast moving traffic at all times. I am getting too old to dodge cars to get my mail.

The Mayor has already responded in favor of this and the Postmaster General said she will re evaluate the route in October of this year.
